• What is a Safelist?
  • 
    A safelist is a closed loop (aka: "double opt in", "opt-in list" or "closed community list") e-mailing list of like minded persons.
    
    These like minded people agree to accept the other members emails for a chance to send their own emails to the group. There are many different types of safelist but these are marketing or advertising safelist.
    
    Because they are closed loop e-mailing list the emails cannot be considered unsolicited. All email laws must still be followed but if one agrees to belong to a e-mailing list it is not UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email).
    
    Each person who plans to use email marketing should know email laws for themselves. Safelist advertising is a great way to increase your traffic and profit. But each individual is responsible for the content of their emails. Being aware of applicable laws is the first step in responsible email marketing.
    
    


• What is a Safelist Directory?

    All 2,829 safelist in the iPostAd Safelist Submitter agreed to be included and listed in this free safelist directory.
    
    Some safelist submitters don't list their safelist database publicly. Not only do we list our database it is routinely pilfered by some of those other safelist submitters to build their database.
    
    At first that bothered us but after thinking it over we knew they could never come close to the quality of iPostAd Safelist Submitter. So the iPostAd clones come and they go but seven years later we are still here serving your Safelist Submitter needs.

• How do I use this directory?

    Click the name of the safelist and that safelist site should open in your browser. The safelists in the directory offer free safelist memberships and some even offer free upgrades to pro membership. Visit each one to find as many discounts, bargains and savings as you can. You may want to join pro on some of the safelist but if and which ones are up to you.
    
    If you choose to join iPostAd it will sign you up for a free account at every safelist in it's database. You will be able to add any pro safelist accounts you have to replace the free ones that have been automatically joined for you. This way your ad will be able to go out more often to the pro safelist accounts.


• Your Safelist Not Listed?

    Do you have a safelist, want it listed in iPostAd and it's not?
    
    We are pretty picky about the safelist we allow into our database. At the same time we try to take care of our safelist owners too.
    If you have a quality safelist and want it listed in iPostAd, this is the place to Add Your Safelist to iPostAd.
    
    Is your safelist listed in iPostAd but it never shows up on the main page?
    
    Write a title and description that is unique and interesting.
    Search engine traffic is important to all the safelists listed here.
    Redundant descriptions on safelist do not add anything to this page.
    Which in return hurts search engine traffic that everyone needs.
    
    So if you want your safelist to show in this page's rotation use a better description. Some people seem to think that "better" means all CAPS or doing this!!!! Wrong. Most people get tired of seeing ALL UPPER CASE and it just annoys them after a while.
    Doing this!!!!! Has been so over used on the net that about all it does is show you need to brush up on your English skills.


• Why "The Black Tie"?

    We get asked that question all the time. Hey, look around this website. Don't you see all the pictures of black ties? If your website had pictures of black ties all over it what would you call your site? Man, some questions don't deserve a response sheee. (Just kidding, so don't send me any nasty emails please).


• Owner Endorsed & Approved
  • 
    Every single safelist in iPostAd safelist submitter has given their approval for their safelist to be listed. From the very first day iPostAd went live every single safelist has given their permission to be listed in iPostAd.
    
    You don't want a safelist to send you emails that you never asked for. So why would a safelist want you to post to their list in a manner they never asked you to use? They don't! So we used the brains God gave us and made a rule from the start, all safelist listed must give their permission, period, end of story.
    
    We work very closely with the safelist owners to keep them happy with iPostAd. Submitting to a safelist cost the owner of that safelist money. Using an unapproved safelist submitter to post to a safelist is using that safelist's resources illegitimately.
    
    Getting permission first is the only legitimate way to submit to other peoples safelists. Besides this being the right thing to do, it serves everyone, the owner, you (the user) and iPostAd.
    
    We don't walk into our neighbors house and unpack our boxes and store our stuff there (not without asking first anyway haha). So we don't put safelists into iPostAds database unless they give us their permission.


• Why two email addresses?
  • 
    Most safelist require you use two email addresses, a list email address and a contact email address.
    
    The contact email address is used by the safelist owner only. You will receive communication about the safelist, advertising offers and solo offers from their paid advertisers.
    
    Safelist membership email ads are sent to the list email address.
    
    Your list email address account will need to be able to handle large volumes of safelist email. List email address accounts need to be high quality. The email address domain nor email servers host should not listed on any of the safelists banned lists. The email server hosts servicing the email account should be able to handle very large volumes of email. If your list email account bounces (returned for "any" reason) you may experience problems with your safelists accounts.
    
    Experienced safelists users know their safelist accounts are only as good as their list email address account. Many safelists users and owners recommend YuhKnow.com for high volume list email address accounts.


• Safelist Varieties
  • 
    There are a few different kinds of safelists but the main type is considered a regular safelists. You can email to the full database of members when it is time to send your ad. The only limit there is on this type of safelist is your level of membership. The higher your level of membership, the more often you can send to the full database.
    
    The other type of safelist is the "credit based safelist". You need to either earn credits or buy credits, to use the credit safelist. Usually each person you email "cost" you one credit. You can earn credits by clicking on credit links inside safelist emails and sometimes other ways. This enables you to continue to use the safelist for free or you pay for credits.

    I just sent my first ad blast about, and so far I am getting one visitor every couple of minutes. I must say I am impressed. The visitors are clicking around my site too -- which is always good. At this rate, I can envision a couple to a few hundred visits per day. My stats say that 50% of visitors are staying from between 30 seconds and 5 minutes. So far so good. I think you have a good review coming :)

    Hello Val, My name is David Guinn and I am so very pleased with ipost ads service.
    
    Until I started using your amazing service, I was getting little to no resuls with other email services to say the least I invested in the Master program and using only one of the submitters my traffic exploded.
    
    On the first braodcast I had 34 unique visitors to my website with an amazing 8 Optins. I now have over 29 New Optins in just 3 days. That may not sound like much, but I thought it was excellent results for a rookie marketer.
    
    I love the one click Join feature as well as the one click validation process. Joining over 2900 safelists would have taken days and days of work but ipost ad system makes it very easy.

    I'm glad I paid you after all. I have only used it for 3 days (there will be 4 after the mailing sent late tonight or tomorrow morning), and 3 people have already signed up for the program I'm marketing.
    
    I can buy 3 guaranteed sign ups for more than 300 dollars, although last time, I bought a set of 5. For less than that, I got 3, and if I get more, I won't pay the 3-4 hundred dollars to those guys.

    The set-up with iPostAd was very quick and simple. Several lists offer PRO free upgrades + extra perks to iPOSTAD members. What I like best about using iPostAd, it's web based. I can always send a promotional message in a few seconds, even on my relative's antiquated computer! I wasn't very good at configuring a schedule and I had difficulty keeping up with adding new lists, so the other safelist submitters weren't great options for me. I also didn't like downloading anything directly from the web. Give me responsive lists, simple to understand directions, customer support who respond in a timely manner (I've tested!), along with generous commissions and I will be around for the long haul.
    I also enrolled 5 affiliates within my first 45 days!
